Richard Rogers, Deputy Director for the Engineering Division, OTech
In October 2015, Richard Rogers was appointed Deputy Director of the Engineering Division for the Office of Technology Services (OTech). Prior to his OTech appointment, he served as the Chief of Infrastructure Services and Application Services with the Employment Development Department (EDD), Labor and Workforce Development Agency, from 1986 to 2015.
Mr. Rogers represented the California Labor and Workforce Development Agency on the California Government Enterprise Network (CGEN) Board, where he was Vice Chair. He was awarded the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of the year award at the Public Sector CIO Academy in 2014.
Mr. Rogers received a Bachelorís degree in Computer Science from California State University, Sacramento and an Associate of Arts Degree in Mathematics from American River College, Sacramento.
